Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Damroo.ai ("Damroo", "we", "us", or "our") collects and how it is handled. Please read it carefully. By joining our waitlist or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described below, including the important limitations on data ownership, security, and regulatory compliance set out in this document.
1. Who we are
Damroo.ai is an early-access product that helps businesses create marketing creatives, captions, and related content. This policy applies to our website, waitlist, and any associated services (collectively, the "Service").
2. Information we collect
When you interact with the Service, we may collect:
- Contact and identity details you provide, such as your name and WhatsApp number.
- Business details, such as your business name, category, and preferred language.
- Any content, prompts, images, text, or assets you upload or generate while using the Service.
- Basic technical information automatically generated by your device and browser.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any information or content you submit, and for the accuracy of that information.
3. Where your data is stored — third-party cloud infrastructure
The Service relies entirely on third-party cloud providers to operate. In particular, data you submit or generate is stored on Supabase Cloud and other third-party infrastructure. This means:
- Your data physically resides on servers and systems operated and controlled by these third-party providers, not by Damroo.
- Damroo has administrative access to data stored within our project environment, but does not own, operate, or fully control the underlying servers, networks, or storage on which that data lives.
- The availability, location, retention, backup, and security of your data are ultimately determined by those third-party providers and their own terms and policies.
Your use of the Service is therefore also subject to the terms and privacy practices of these third-party providers, which we encourage you to review independently.
4. No data ownership or custody guarantees
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Damroo does not grant, guarantee, or assume any obligation regarding ownership, custody, or exclusive control of data stored through the Service. We do not warrant that we hold, can recover, can isolate, or can permanently retain any particular data on your behalf.
Because storage and processing occur on third-party infrastructure, we cannot and do not promise that data will remain available, intact, private, or retrievable, and we accept no liability for any loss, deletion, corruption, unavailability, or exposure of data.
5. No regulatory compliance or certification
Damroo is an early-stage Service. We do not claim, represent, or warrant compliance with any specific data-protection or privacy law, framework, or certification, including (without limitation) the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the CCPA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any similar regime.
We have not undertaken formal audits or certifications and make no representation that the Service meets the requirements of any such standard. You should not submit any data that requires a specific level of legal protection or compliance.
6. Security — reliance on third parties
The security of your data depends entirely on the measures implemented by our third-party providers, including Supabase Cloud. Damroo does not independently guarantee the security of any data and is not responsible for security incidents, breaches, vulnerabilities, or failures originating from or affecting those third-party services.
No method of transmission or electronic storage is fully secure. While we take reasonable, commercially available steps to use these services as intended, we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security, and the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
7. How we use information
We may use the information collected to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Contact you about your waitlist status, early access, and product updates (including via WhatsApp).
- Respond to your requests and provide support.
- Monitor usage and protect the Service against misuse.
8. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with the third-party service providers that power the Service (such as cloud hosting and messaging providers), as needed to operate it, and where required by law or to protect our rights.
9. Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by applicable considerations. Because data is stored on third-party infrastructure, deletion requests are subject to the capabilities, timelines, and limitations of those providers. We cannot guarantee complete or immediate deletion across all systems, backups, or third-party copies.
10. Children
The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
